The department maintains two computer labs outfitted with Apple Macintosh computers. Each lab is equipped with Adobe design software and black-and-white laser printers. One lab is equipped with a color laser printer. High-quality ink-jet prints can be made at the department’s Print Lab.
Digital Imaging, Introduction to Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, and other Graphic Design and Studio Art courses are typically taught in these labs.
Beginning Fall 2011 semester, students who enter the Graphic Design program after passing Candidacy Portfolio Review will be required to purchase a laptop computer and design software package that meets program minimum standards. More information can be found here.
