Art students visit the Mint Museum in Charlotte
Art students and faculty engaged in an art-making activity

Appalachian State art students, Dr. Mira Waits, and Mint Museum staff engaged in icebreaker activities in order to get to know one another and their interests in the museum profession

Accompanied by art history faculty, Dr. Mira Waits and Dr. Heather Waldroup, a group of art students visited the Mint Museum Randolph for a professional development event with museum staff. The students met current interns (including Mattie Hough, an art history major interning in registration and collections management) and museum staff, engaged in a fun art-making activity, and visited the collections.
