Internships

Get real world experience

The primary benefit of pursuing an internship is to gain experience applying the concepts and skills you have gained through course work in your major field. An internship provides valuable work experience that will better prepare you for employment after graduation. Graphic Communications Management majors are required to participate in two internships, which often lead to job offers upon graduation.

GCM 3900 Graphic Communications Internship I

Prerequisite: 16 hours of coursework in the major must be completed.

Contact Dr. John Craft for more details.

GCM 4900 Graphic Communications Internship II

Prerequisite: 30 hours of coursework in the major must be completed.

Contact Dr. George Glisan for more details.

Career Connections

Career Connections is the program’s job fair for majors hosted every spring semester.

It is an industry connecting and networking event where students have opportunities to meet with various company representatives from the Graphic Communications Industry and gain valuable one-on-one interviewing experience and skills.
